Look, we're even then hon, 'cos I'm jealous you're going to Angkor Wat before me. We've been trying to get there for 2 years!

Look forward to meeting your mum at Melbourne Cup on tuesday (am I allowed to get squiffy?)

Ok....might just let you away with it then!!

And as far as my mum's concerned (She's looking forward to meeting you too)....she might be a mother but she is Scottish and she is MY mother which means that she is completely used to squiffy (and possibly roaring drunk!!). In fact....I think she would be worried if you stayed sober!!

Nothing like having your mom around! My mom came out for a visit when I lived in BKK and again a few years later for my son's birth.

You will LOVE Angkor - it is pure magic. I think that Seim Riep has developed a LOT in the 5 years since I've been there.

There's nothing like your mom. No matter how old you are.
Both of my parents are of Scottish decent. My husband is of Irish. He likes to tease me about the Irish being better. What's funny is we will have a Thai baby with an Irish last name.

Joel wants to go to Angkor Wat before we arrive in Bangkok. I can't wait to see you blog about your adventure.

Amy - It's lovely having her here and really nice that she will now be able to faces to the names she's been hearing for the past year or so.
I can't wait to go to Angkor - we did a history of Khmer Art tour around this time last year and it's was fantastic. We got to see Angkor's prototype - I am so excited about going.

Tracey - You can tell him that the Scottish are definately better!! (But the Irish come a close second :-)). I will definately put lots of photo's on the blog for you!!
